Thanksgiving Thoughts...

It's that time of year when we try to make our families fit into a Hallmark greeting card portrait when in fact, they are more like the WWF fighters on Monday nights!

How God must shake his (or her) head and smile at us - we are so slow to understand the important things in this life! It is important to strive to become more, yet we should never forget that it's also about being authentic, right where we are, with those we are with. Living and loving fully those in our lives. Life is good. Small town living suits me and the folks here have been very gracious to me in many ways large and small.

I've now been to China (will post pix later) and seen incredible wealth and poverty, ancient history and leading edge technology, extreme communism and incredible generosity within moments of each other. No matter how far I travel, people are people and a smile can transcend any culture.
